Gillian Crossley-Holland is a professional painter living and working in a house built over a stream on the border of Norfolk and Suffolk.  She is close to the Lopham Fens and an easy drive to the salt marshes and shoreline of the North, Norfolk coast, all areas that provide the major inspiration for her work.

Gillian says 'I remain fascinated by the concept of a view where the land is no more than a mirror to the sky.'

Her paintings have been exhibited in America and England and she is a founder member of Artworks in Suffolk and Tideliners in Norfolk.

In 2016, she collaborated with the poet Kevin Crossley-Holland and produced a book of poems and paintings about the Norfolk shore, Veering North-Easterly.
